Proxxon NG 5/E Information the information about the Proxxon NG 5/E: Introduction The Proxxon NG 5/E is a mains adapter that provides variable speed control for Micromot tools. It has a capacity of 5A and can output a voltage of up to 16V at no load, or 12V under load. The adapter is housed in a compact Noryl casing that is heat resistant and recommended for transformers. It features three polarized sockets for Micromot machines, as well as a pair of sockets for standard banana plugs with a diameter of 4mm. The NG 5/E also has a master switch for turning off the transformer without needing to unplug, a red LED indicator for "ready," and a PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) element for protection against overload. The adapter comes with a foldable tool rest for the Micromot tool, as well as storage holes for insert bits and cutters with shafts of 3/32" and 7/64" (2.35 and 3mm).
